Caribbean heat destroying coral reefs

In January 2000 a group calling themselves the Animal Kingdom Rescue Agency (AKRA) launched a mission code named Project-ARK. It was an attempt to highlight the plight of the world's endangered species.

The aim was to promote global conservation, save the natural environment and to champion the cause of the vanishing breeds. But Project-ARK has evolved into something much bigger than a campaign to save rhinos, tigers and the rain forest. Suddenly the world is waking up to the fact that it's not just wildlife facing extinction . . . the future of the Planet and the entire human race is ultimately at stake.

Unless we act now to tackle global warming, the erosion of our natural habitat and damage to the eco system we will all be on the endangered list sooner or later. Global warming is no longer a myth. We ignore the danger signs at our own peril. The Polar Ice Caps are melting and the Planet is slowly but surely heating up.

Calling all storytellers and film-makers

The Project-ARK conservation team believe the future of the Planet can be shaped by inspirational storytellers and creative film makers. That is why we are inviting you to join our mission...

Help us build a library of short films and stories that will help to educate and motivate, to influence the most powerful decison-makers of the 21st century and to win the hearts and minds of the worldwide community.

This could be our Last Chance To Save The Planet . . . and the future of our children's children - JOHN GUBBA, PROJECT-ARK
